Pod Youth Theatre commences on Monday 22nd September 2025 with registration and our first workshop of the term.
(If your young person is a new member, please feel free to try out the first workshop as a taster session before committing and paying for the term.)

Pod Junior’s 8-12 yrs (National school)
Registration 4:30pm Workshop until 6pm (4:30pm-6pm weekly)

Pod Senior’s 13-18 yrs (Secondary school)
Registration 6pm Workshop until 8pm (6-8pm weekly)

What is Pod Youth Theatre all about?

Pod Youth Theatre promotes youth theatre opportunities that focus on the artistic, personal and social development of young people. All young people are welcome to join and no prior experience is necessary. Pod Youth Theatre is young person lead & the voice of the young people is paramount. We always try to accommodate the interests & skills of our members. This changes according to the group each year.

We cover all aspects of theatre: acting, directing, movement, voice, costume, lights & sound to name just a few. In the first term Sept-Dec the group learn the foundations of youth theatre & it’s the getting to know each other stage. In the New Year we usually work towards a performance. We take the lead from the group, their abilities & what they want to do. So what this looks like changes year on year. In the past we have done large scale productions & also small intimate performances.

Term Fees (12 weeks):
€120 per child
€230 for 2 siblings
€300 for 3 siblings
